The Voids Management application was designed to allow clients the ability to monitor and control the work in the progress on void properties and to speed up turn around times.

The module is linked to the client's main voids system and once a property's details are inputted, a unique barcode is created to identify the individual property. The barcode is placed in the property by the supervisor on their inspection visit and all the details of work to be effected to make the property habitable are inputted on the handheld unit.

The information is then downloaded from the handheld unit into the system which then creates an individual file for each property, it will show all the work that is required, who is responsible for each job and the timescale for completion.

As each piece of work is completed, it is signed off on the system if there is any delay, pre-set by a number of days the system will raise the property staff attention of it allowing the staff to act upon this and making sure the project is completed within the timescales set .

Once the project has been completed, the supervisor can return for the final inspection and sign the property off using the handheld. Once this information is downloaded to the system the property can then be made avaliable for renting.
